As we stepped through the portal, a mix of emotions flooded my senses. Relief for escaping Damian's dungeon, concern for Elias, and an overwhelming determination to ensure the safety of the life growing within me.
Elias, weakened and worn, had sacrificed his own sustenance to help me. I couldn't leave him behind. With Tyler and Luke's support, we guided him through the magical gateway, leaving the damp and oppressive atmosphere of the dungeon behind.
The unfamiliar surroundings on the other side of the portal hinted at an otherworldly realm. Azura and Dahlia quickly closed the magical gateway, severing the connection between the two worlds. The sense of urgency lingered, the knowledge that we were far from safe in this new territory.
