"So this is the house." Jordan announced with a grin when he pulled out in front of a very nice house.
I gawked at the scene.
"I.. I.. "
"Do you like it?"
How can I stay alone with my sister's husband. Delilah won't be happy when she learns that I live alone with him.
"I can't live here, Jordan." My voice broke.
"Why? Don't you like the house? I can take you to another one down the road?"
"No, no. I love it but don't you think we should wait till we get married?"
"No, we can't. When we get married, I'm taking us to California. You got nothing to leave here for, Delores, you can't even reach your mother so there's no reason to stay here."
