Princess Sirena
I’d been kidnapped again. Twice now, during my time in Aurum, I’d been kidnapped. That did not include the time that Xavier Bones had snuck into my room without anyone knowing in broad daylight. Maybe Xavier was right. Maybe Zale didn’t care, and this was some kind of plot to destroy my country. Maybe I did need to resume my plan and try to kill him. It hadn’t really been a plan though. More a burning desire.
Aside from one visit from Xavier, I had been alone and I wasn’t sure how long it had been. I thought being Zale’s fiancé I would somehow manage to get rescued faster. But Zale hadn’t even noticed that I’d run from the hunting lodge. Now I was in the hands of The Argenti, a group that wanted Aurum to cease to exist.
