"What are you thinking, Nikki. Challenging one of the pack s**t for a duel like this in front of the entire pack? What if you get hurt?" Cole asks while dragging Nikki away to a scheduled place so that no one can hear their conversation as they walk towards the arena in the training ground.
"I know that you are worried about me. But it needs to be done because I know that Clary was not the only one who doubted my capability to lead the pack. Many others questioned me, but she was the only one who came forward. It is the quickest way to solve this problem once and for all. Have some trust in me. I will be careful so that I won't get hurt," Nikki said with a smile and kissed him.
"You better be careful otherwise, I will never forgive you if you get hurt," Cole said, stil
