Zuko
“Zu Zu?” I shot up from doing sit-ups. Did I just hear? “Ya I think we did” Zero said excitement in his tone. “Angel” I projected back at her “Stop stealing my nickname!” Zero protested. “Yes its me Zu Zu and thank you Zero for the most adorable nickname” She responded. Which made Zero blush… that is if wolves can blush… “Do you know where you are?” she continued. “I know I am in a large building surrounded by woods but the building also has a lot of enchantments over it so it might be hard to find.”
“That’s not a problem I can see through enchantments”
“Really?”
“Like really really?”
“It’s a long story but basically Vamps were a result of witches doing experiments on humans till one of them Vampera as she was called created us. Because of this some Vamps can have special abilities mine is that I can enchant items as well as see through enchantments.”
“Enchant items? Like in Skyrim Elder Scrolls?”
“Exactly”
Scream
“Sia are you ok? Sia???? SIA!!!”
Sia
I should have known the moment I heard the word enchantments. I should have known that the Warlock or Witch in charge would have a way to keep track of his enemies or pawns. A seeing stone is the only thing that could explain this. As I lay on the ground after being punched and hurtled 30 or so feet I quickly enchanted my choker necklace with a stone block spell. Which basically makes it impossible to use any kind of magical stone on me. Including a certain seeing stone to spy on me. Come to think of it did he, at least I think it is a he, use it to spy on me while I am DRESSING?!!
“Ahh yes look at that nice body I can’t wait to get my hands on that” Dark maniacal laughter filled my imagination.
Literally shaking me out of my day dream the beast that Mace had identified as Grougaloragran tossed me in to yet another tree. It was a tree that had stopped my momentum the first time. What is with this monstrosity and tossing me into trees?
Enchanting my shoes with a speed spell, tripling my already fast movements I dodged his next attack and grabbed his arm (which was slimy and stinky. Gross!) twisting it in a direction it was never supposed to go breaking it in 5 different places. Going this fast it made it seem that everything else was going slow. But of course this kind of enchantment only lasted for one use. So without stopping I quickly enchanted Groug’s assortment of daggers, swords and whips with a gravity enhancing spell making them impossible to lift as well as tearing them away from his belt. One of his swords landed on his foot giving me enough time to access the situation and how much damage I had received before he dragged his foot out from underneath. Which was painful according to the groans he let out.
I had two broken ribs and a bunch of bruises, scrapes, and cuts but was otherwise ok. We were in a small clearing which had plenty of room to maneuver and based on how long I was communicating with Zuko their base is not far from here. I quickly made a mental note of the place. I also recalled something that Mace said about Groug. “If you ever bump into Groug go for the horn it is the source of his power and breaking his remaining one will make him very weak. I know this because I am the one who broke off the other horn and had a witch shrink it so I could turn it into this.” He had said showing me a necklace with a mini horn dangling from it.
Now free, Groug charged me like a bull and I braced myself ready to grab that horn.
Mace
After tracking Sia to what seemed to be a friend’s house Ezio and I could already scent that she had left so we didn’t bother questioning her friend and instead chased after her dead-like scent. Her scent led us back into pack territory shockingly enough and at first we thought she went to talk to High Alpha but his cabin was in the opposite direction.
Finally entering a clearing we could see and hear Sia fighting the very demon I swore that I would hunt down and kill to avenge my parents, little sis, and pack. Grougaloragran.
Flashback
I stumbled into the kitchen with my usual not-a-morning-person attitude and grabbed some cereal sloppily poring it into a bowl which was followed by milk. Ravenously scarfing it down I was just finished eating when the most adorable giggle erupted from behind me. Setting the bowl down as I was just drinking the milk I turned to look at the intruder.
“Big bro made a messy” she said giggling. I let out a noise that sounded like Harumph then quickly crossed the dining room hardwood floor and scooped the 6-year-old up and tickled her as well as play biting her neck. “Top it Top it!” She laughed attempting to say “Stop it Stop it” I smiled “Bop it Bop it” I responded referring to the Bop it game that she loved to play. You know, the one that says, “Bop it, top it, twist it, flick it” and so on. I had only finished setting her down when the warning bells went off. Mother and Father ran down the steps. Mother took Angeline, my sis, away to head to the shelter; while my Father and I got ready to fight. “What’s going on?” I asked “Demon” he answered. He was always a man of few words so how Mother put up with him I would never know. We shifted into our wolves and headed outside leaving shredded clothing in our wake. The moment we did we could hear and feel members of the pack dying. Other pack members wouldn’t be affected by it but my father and I were because of two things…
He was the Alpha
I was his son
And this was the day I lost it all
My pack
My family
My home
My mate
