It was purely by coincidence that Piper and Joel ended up back at the Weston mansion at the same time. Piper had just finished parking her car when Joel pulled up alongside her. She got out of the car and waited for him, smiling when she saw that he had Scout with him. Scout"s nose twitched, and he looked expectantly at Piper"s car, having caught the scent of Daisy, his true love. Scout gave an uncharacteristically loud bark, and Daisy popped her head up from the back seat where she had been napping. She gave a wag of her tail and then curled back up as if to say she was not interested. But when Piper opened her door to get out, Daisy was right there ready to greet her friend.
