Gerald's POV The clouds were gray, matching my mood. I knew it was going to start raining, but the people in the city didn't seem to care about that. Everyone just kept on, carrying on with their normal activities as if it wasn't almost nighttime. I kept on breathing in and out from the back of the car, making Cameron glance at me. When I remembered how I almost bumped into Annabelle yesterday when I went to Aysel's office and how Cameron was able to warn me through his smartwatch, I knew that I owed him one. If Annabelle had found me walking out of that building, there was no way she would not have caused a scene. I dodged a bullet, and I was glad about that. I was glad that Cameron had her preoccupied while I snuck out. Even though when I came back, she kept on asking me meaningle
