"The investors will be arriving very soon. You are the one who will lead the meeting. Make sure that Ashley doesn't mess up her presentation again. I am trusting you with this contract. Don't disappoint me or else there will be consequences."
He ignored me, going through the files. His brows furrowed. He glanced at the document and back at me.
"There is no way in hell that I am leading this meeting. Have you even gone through the documents that you gave me? We don't do illegal business, Gerald, we run a legit company.
