I relaxed a bit the moment I heard that the kids are fine and would be visiting me soon. I’m glad that the news got to mum and dad, they would have been worried sick if they didn’t see me for a week and the kids would also be affected by it.
Although they have their grandparents to look after them, the girls are so used to me that they would be sad if they didn’t see me for days. Adding to the situation that their father is unknown to them, they’d feel neglected, so I closed my eyes and sighed in relief.
