We left the skeptical elders in the pack hall and now I was seeing another version of Xander in our room. Xander paced the room, his brows furrowed in deep contemplation. We will find a way out.” I re*ssured him, but to no avail. “No, I can’t calm down. My pack members doubted me. This can’t happen.” he was furious. “But they are not wrong. We aren’t mated so whatever they said remains valid.” I answered him and stood in front of him. His eyes were filled with emotions, mostly rage but I could feel he was a little scared too. I approached him, placing a hand on his arm to halt his restless pacing. "Xander, w
