After getting dressed I waited patiently in the room, Xander and I were not allowed to see each other before the ceremony. I was feeling jittery, the high slit of my dress was making me uncomfortable, but I was excited too. I wanted Xander to see me in this dress, I wanted his appreciation. After what felt like a century, Aunt Mary came, she smiled at me and for a second I started missing my mother.
