It took us a few minutes to get Kaden's temper under control. He thought for a second that they were going back for good and his mate was leaving him. I had plans on leaving right after breakfast. I had a bunch of warriors going with us and Declan and now Kaden. I didn't even think about Jasmine wanting to go, but I should have, and we could have avoided this whole Kaden tantrum in the first place. Asher was going to have to stay here and keep things under control.
I grabbed Skylar's hand and we headed downstairs. The second we walked into the dining hall; it went completely silent and everyone stared at us. I leaned in and kissed Skylar's cheek. That should clear up any questions about us being together. I pulled her to the line to fix a plate.
