His eyes were glowing bright green and his voice dropped to a level of scary.
"How dare you try to reject us! We are your mate, and you come first and if you ever try that s**t again, I will put you in the dungeon for a time-out," his wolf threatened, and I took a step back. I don't know why his wolf hates me so much. I thought mates were supposed to be forgiving. "I'm so sorry. I mean I don't necessarily disagree with him," Callen said, as his eyes quickly went back to normal and his voice went back to his normal soothing tone.
