Skylar's POV
I woke up shivering on the floor in the same room. It took me a few minutes to get my bearings about me. I wasn't really sure what happened. I knew I passed out from the silver knife being slammed into my leg and I woke up to my mate, who I didn't even know his name yet, taking care of me and then his eyes changing colors and then nothing. I woke her alone and with no memory.
"I can tell you what happened." Bri linked me.
"Where did you go? I tried linking you earlier."
"There is enough silver in that chair that it makes me weak, and I couldn't talk with you or heal you. However, our mate is powerful. Very powerful. He has the ability to bypass you and speak to me, well his wolf does. He can command other wolves, but as your mate, he can't command us."
