I laid on top of Magnus’s chest for a few minutes after he fell asleep. I listened to his steady breathing and his heartbeat. I stroked his cheek, and a soft smile spread onto his face. The more time I spent with him, the more I fell for him. I am not tired, so I sit up on the bed. I hate to leave him, but I don’t feel like lying in bed all day. I lean down and kiss him, then get up and go into the bathroom to clean myself up, and then I get dressed. I kiss him one more time and leave a note for him. I decided to explore the compound for a bit. I am curious about the place I am about to call home.
