MATE

                                                                                Layla’s POV

                                            Wow, his voice is so powerful. Who is he and why does he smell so good? He smells like fresh rain and the earthy forest. I let Lisa up.    

Alpha Liam: *ML to Ang* 

Now I see why both you and Alpha Marcus submitted to her she may be human, but she is inhumanly strong and Badass.

Angelina: *ML to Liam* 

Told you 

                                                                    s**t he’s Angelina’s brother 

Layla:  so, you must be Angelina’s brother Liam right

Alpha Liam: yea that's me 

                                            Damn, he’s gorgeous and built like a Greek God. 

                                        He must be at least six foot five with mid-length curly dark 

                                            brown hair and grey eyes. God, he smells amazing too.

Alpha Liam: (Thinking) Wow she’s beautiful long wavy brown hair olive skin tone Long legs and full luscious lips I just want to kiss her lips she smells amazing like vanilla with a hint of jasmine. Plus, she did just knock out my third in command and she handled his mate too and she is only human. f**k she’s amazing I think I’m in love.

                                                                            Lisa clears her throat

Lisa: Sir she attacked James 

Layla: Laying it on thick now eh. I only punched James in the jaw one shot. James asked for it it’s not my fault he has a glass jaw. He needs to learn to watch how he talks to me I don't tolerate disrespect.

Alpha Liam: (Laughing) Wow one punch damn well that's one hell of a punch.

Angelina: (Laughs) I know her right hook is no joke.

Lisa: This isn’t funny he is still out 

                                                                            James starts to come to

James:  Hmmph, what the hell happened?

Layla: (laughing) Oh your back, well I introduced you to my little friend (showing James my right fist) and well isn’t she a knockout.

James: (Laughing) Damn you knocked me out that's never happened to me before ever. You even hit harder than Alph... I mean Liam (rubbing my jaw)

Layla: Uhm Alph as in Alpha or Alphonse?

                                                                    Ang looks at James and Lisa then

                                                                             finally, at Liam shocked.

Alpha Liam: (Smirking) Yeah, I’m the Alpha male around here what I say goes.

Layla: (Laughs) Cocky

Angelina: Well to be fair Lily calls you a boss ass b***h, because your technically an Alpha female who doesn't take s**t from anyone (I point to James to prove my point) clearly not afraid to knock them out if they piss you off (laughing).

Layla: (Laughing)

Angelina: But you do have a lot of other Alpha traits as well

                                                                                I arch my brow up

Layla:  What do you mean Alpha traits?

Alpha Liam:  Well for one you're a dominant female and you don't tolerate disrespect

Angelina: And you're possessive and protective over Lily and me.

Layla: My kids too but I’m their mom and you girls are like the sisters I never had, and if I don't have your back at work who will?

Alpha Liam: (Low Growl) She’s my sister I will always have her back 

Layla: Oh, really where were you when Marcus was acting like a crazed ass before I began to work for the organization hmm?

Alpha Liam: Uhhh?

Layla: That's what I thought 

Angelina: Layla he didn't know we were too scared to tell him because Marcus is a big investor in our organization.

Layla: That didn't stop me from putting him in his place.

                                                Liam steps closer towards me. Staring at me intensely with his 

                                            dark grey eyes filled with lust as he grabs my wrist sending a wave

                                                 of currents throughout my body. Then he pulls me to his chest

                                                         and burrows his face into my neck inhaling my scent. 

                                                    I normally would drop someone on their ass if they tried this

                                                     but it’s like I’m lost in the effect he has on me and his scent of 

                                                                        fresh rain and earthy forest is fogging my mind.

                                                                                                        End POV

Alpha Liam: (Low Growl) MINE!!!

                                            Her breath hitches in her throat clearly affected and aroused by Liam’s touch. Layla’s heart is racing as the tingles travel from where Liam’s skin meets hers.

Layla: (Thinking) Who the hell does this Liam guy think he is grabbing my wrist, and did he just growl at me? I don't care how good this feels I am not his possession.

Layla: (mumbles) I belong to no one 

Alpha Liam: (Growl) MINE!

                                                                                Liam growls clearly, he heard her mumble and he smells

                                                                                her arousal he grabs her by the waist yelling mine as he

                                                                         lowers his head into her neck again inhaling her scent nuzzling     

                                                                                        into the soft space of where he will mark her. 

                                                                                                                            Layla’s POV

                                                                                            Feeling tingles all over my body and his growl sends a 

                                                                                                shiver down my spine I feel so week in my knees as he 

                                                                                        nuzzles into my neck I could swear I feel his teeth graze the 

                                                                                                    soft space of my neck God this feels good, but I can’t 

                                                                                                                                        End POV

Layla: Mmmmm

Angelina: Ahem what’s going on here

Layla: (Thinking) s**t this has never happened to me before I always have control. What is this man doing to me?

Angelina: *ML to Liam* 

She is human what are you doing?

Alpha Liam: *ML to Ang* 

She’s my Mate I can’t help it 

                                                                            Ang Mind Links James and Lisa explains to them that

                                                                     Layla is the Alphas Mate they both stare at Angelina in shock 

                                                                                Liam still holding Layla he lifts his head from her

                                                                                                 neck and stares into her eyes he says 

Alpha Liam: Your Mine, You're my Mate.

                                                                                                Layla quickly snaps out of it shaking her

                                                                                                           head as if she was in a trance 

Layla: (Breathing heavily I’m able to rasp out a breathy) Your What?

Angelina: Uhm let me get you home we have a lot to do tomorrow before the banquet Friday.

                                                                Liam growls as Angelina leads Layla out towards 

                                                                                the car then Liam Mind Links Ang.

Alpha Liam: *ML to Ang* 

SHE'S MINE!!!

Angelina: *ML to Liam* 

She’s human she is not ready for this now.  

Layla will need to know what we are first.  After the banquet I’ll explain it to her.

Alpha Liam: *ML to Ang*

Fine!

                                                                                                        Liam POV

                                                                    I can’t believe I finally found my mate after all these years, 

                                                                            and the worst part is she is human well not only 

                                                                                                human but a widow THE WIDOW.

                                                                                    Not that it matters but she has two kids who are

                                                                                             also human talk about complicated.

                                                                                                                    End POV

                                                                                                                    Layla’s POV

                                                                Angelina drove me home and helped me bring my stuff in the house. 

                                                            It was a quiet and awkward ride. I can’t believe how attractive her brother is.

                                                                               I mean felt lost in his touch. The feeling I got when his

                                                                                     skin touched mine was like an explosion of pleasure 

                                                                                                        that took over my body in waves.

                                                                            I haven’t felt this hot and bothered since my late husband Chris, 

                                                                    but to be honest I’ve never felt this way with anyone not even Chris. 

                                                                                  I know I affected Liam the same way he affected me I saw it in 

                                                                                                    his eyes as they grew a darker shade of grey.

Layla: Thanks Ang see you at work tomorrow.

Angelina: Ok goodnight.
