Damien’s POV—
I loosen my tie as I feel tired and disappointed! It is 11.50 and I have finished interviewing the last candidate, who was an intern too and have sent him to the marketing department. Even after so much of efforts, not even a single candidate was even nearby to the profile I am looking for. I think for a second; new candidates have to be called for interview and that also today itself.
I quickly call Lara on the intercom, after two rings, she picks up the call. As she says ‘ Hello Sir’ I can hear a girl talking at the background.
“Please Miss, am sorry but I left my file in a hurry and had to go back to get it!” the voice seems pleading and talking about some file and delay.
“What is wrong Lara?” I ask her.
“Nothing Sir, one candidate has reported about 5 mins back sayi
