Miscommunication at its best

After my date with Parker, all I could think about was him. I couldn’t wait to hang out with him again. The only problem was other people had something in mind for us.
I walked into the school and over to my locker to grab some books when I overheard some girls talking.
“I can’t believe you have a date with one of the Gray Brothers,” one girl mentioned.
I peeked around my locker door.
“Now that he’s a free agent, I can’t wait to go out with him. He is so hot,” another girl said.
“How did you get him to agree? He usually refuses to date,” the other girl told her.
“I asked him, and he said yes,” she shrugged.
The only one I knew that refused to date is Parker unless that was a coverup, and he duped me. I am such an i***t.
