My least favorite part of the month has finally arrived. I woke up at dawn with an extreme pain on my abdomen that I can barely move. I can hear my phone ringing again but I just keep on ignoring it. It’s probably one of my sisters calling, but why would they’d be calling me? Unless Steff already told them about it.
I grunted when I heard it ringing again. I roll over my bed and reached for it on the bedside table. “Hello?”
“Baby? Are you okay? It took you too long to pick up.”
“I’m fine. The effects of the hike are probably kicking in.” Raphael chuckled. I’m lying, I know. I just don’t want ANYONE to bother me at this time. “I’m having another client meeting today do you want to come with me?”
“I’d love to but I’m staying home for now.” I hissed when another shot of pain
