Chapter 4Gaspard parked the car in front of the YBR center and looked out the passenger window at the building’s facade. It was an impressive three-story building, probably built in the early 1800s and not much retouched over the years. It didn’t look like a community center at all. More like an old presbytery or Catholic school. The only sign it was neither of those was the very subtle banner hanging over the first-floor window. Yellow Brick Road Center. Welcome to all.
