"Is she inside?" I asked the guards who were guarding the room where Nina was staying as a hostage. The guards looked at me, bowed their heads, and stepped aside to let me go inside.
"Yes, she is, Luna. But Alpha Declan gave us a strict order to not let anyone meet her. But, you don't count on those people." one of the guards spoke and I smiled. Glad that they are getting to know their places and learning to respect me.
"Glad to know that you are learning," I said, patting his shoulder while the other guard opened the door for me. I smiled and thanked him with a wink, making him blush and look down at his feet shyly like a teenager. They began to follow me inside for protection when I stopped them with a smile.
