"Are you alright?" he asked "You are not hurt. Are you?" his voice was full of concern until Declan cleared his throat and pulled me to him possessively and wrapped his arms around my waist while Elias gritted his teeth and balled his fist in anger trying to hold himself back from killing Declan.
"Don't touch my mate!" Declan growled "She's mine, Elias."
"Then protect her!" Elias snapped "I wouldn't have touched her if she wasn't in danger and shaken up. You claim to be her mate, and yet you are doing a very poor job of being a good and protective mate
