Abused Mate

Chapter 10

*Demetrys POV*

As I watched my mate fall asleep I rocked our precious little girl. I can’t believe I had been gone so long and left my mate to go through something so special alone. I quietly opened the door and walked down to the living room. I sat back on the couch and turned the tv on. I hear someone walking down the stairs and quickly turn to see who it is. 

“Who’s baby is that?” Samuel asks as he walks towards me with curious eyes. 

“It’s my daughter” I said looking down at her 

Sasha and Olivia come around the corner heading up the stairs before looking my direction. 

“DO YOU HAVE THE BABY?” Sasha asks excitedly. 

“Yeah, why?” She looks at me confused “thanks for being excited to see me sis” 

“Nobody has seen the baby yet. She gave birth alone and has been locked away ever sense.” Heading that just breaks my heart. Not only was I not there but she didn’t let anyone help her. 

“Well, Sasha and Olivia. Would you two care to watch Blair for a bit? I need to go spend some time with lex.” 

“Of course. Hand that baby over!” Olivia says excitedly. 

“Thanks guys” with that I take off upstairs to my mate. My poor mate that has been through hell and back alone. 

I open the door to see her already up trying to get out of bed. 

“Where is Blair?” She asks angrily.

“She is with my sister and your friend. Me and you are going to spend a few hours together and then we will go get her back.” I said and I could already tell she was going to argue with me. 

“But” was all I let her get out 

“No, we have been apart to long and you went through everything without me. Please just let me be here right now” 

With that she shook her head yes. I walked into the bathroom and prepared a bath. I went and got my gorgeous mate and placed her into the tub and got in and pulled her close to me. 

“I promise I will be spending the rest of my life making this up to you” I said as I kissed her. 

____THREE YEARS LATER______

“Blair get back here” I yelled as I chase her around the house. She is so fast and hard to catch. 

“No daddy. I don’t want to go to grandmas “ she yelled as she took off again. 

“Blair stop right now” lex says and Blair immediately listens. 

She is going to her grandmothers because my amazing mate and I have a weekend getaway planned  

After dropping her off and driving to the cabin we get our stuff settled and head to dinner. It was nice having time just the two of us. 

When we arrive back there is a box set on the bed. 

“Open it” lex says so I start walking towards it. I open the box and pull out two onesies that say daddies little man. Both of them. 

“Why is there two?” I asked her 

“Twins” and with that I scooped her up and spun her around kissing her. More excited than ever because I get to be there the entire time!!!
