LARA’S POV
Tonight is the university’s anniversary ball.
Looking at myself in the mirror, I cannot understand why I am being too nervous when all we will do right now is get ready. Was it because it has been too long since I experienced this kind of thing? This fairly reminds me of my real daily life back in my real world and having it right now really feels weird. I am being weird.
Colin nudges my side. I noticed that she already went out of the room to change. Like I am, she is also changed into her robe so we could easily change into our ball gowns later.
“Are you feeling nervy?”
I smile and nod. “I’ve never been in anything like this before.”
Which is the truth in this world’s sense. I refused going in any of these balls and if it was not a requirement to do so,
