LARA’S POV
It happened all too fast. I do not really know what happened between Aunt Melina and all the university representatives that she talked to, but there was truly nothing I could do anymore. It was already her decision to move into an institution rather than stay here in her own house. She already agreed upon doing this and there was nothing left for me to do but to help her.
After we talked yesterday, she remained calm and this time all her remorse is gone. She was simply calm and she was treating me casually like nothing ever happened. It felt like I was with another person rather than her, my real aunt, but I did not say anything. If this is what she was comfortable in, I did not have the right to say anything at all.
