“What? You mean to tell me that you are already the best actress of this university for all your hard work that you’re pouring for your play—but you still haven’t had anything prepared to wear for the actual ball? Lara! Are you serious?”
I laughed at Colin’s hysterical reaction. I honestly do not blame her because she has a whole point there, but it does not mean that I will control my laughter from her panicked state now. It is my fault and it was very silly enough that, yes, I did actually forget to prepare for what I should wear for the real occasion. I am still attending as myself and will just later on act. It completely slipped off my mind that we were attending a party and this play that we have been preparing for is nothing but an add-on to our night.
