ZERO’S POV
I cannot remember anymore what time Lara and I finally fell asleep, but all I can say is that I slept really well considering that we stayed up for as long as we could. I would have expected a massive headache, but neither that was present. After feeling myself, making sure that my world will not spin, I slowly opened my eyes.
It was already daytime… and Lara is not in bed anymore.
For a moment I panicked because I would have preferred if she woke me up before leaving, but then the smell of pancakes and bacon immediately calmed me down. She did not close the door and now I can smell all the good things a breakfast has to offer.
