“You said I am not a prisoner.” Avery raised his voice at Liam, who stood in front of him, blocking Avery’s path to leave the pack, while Liam’s warriors stood behind him as Liam ordered them. He didn’t want to intimidate Avery, but he couldn’t allow him to leave either. Avery had spent a week in the pack, mostly in the infirmary where the doctor took care of him while not letting him leave the room for at least once until Liam picked him up and took him to the house they prepared specially for Avery. “You are not, but I can’t let you leave.
