Liam woke up in the middle of the night, the moon shining high in the sky, surrounded by thousands of stars. He couldn’t sleep well since the Alphas, one by one, arrived in his pack. He always feared they would find out about the patient in the infirmary and question his origin. Liam couldn’t disclose anything about him, and he couldn’t afford to let them connect the person with the incident at the borders of Liam’s pack. Liam got out of the bed, putting his clothes before he left the house. The freezing cold air entered his lungs. He couldn’t feel the cold, yet the slight stinging pain sharpened his senses. He walked around his territory, checking the position of guards before his legs brought him to the infirmary. Every night he ended here, looking at the window which belonged to her. B
