Anjali It's been two weeks since Aarav and I have become friends. We share everything with each other. I am comfortable talking with him. “Anjali we fixed your engagement this Monday,” dad who is at the dining table having breakfast says. “What? So early?” I ask. Since they fixed it on Monday, this means we have four days left. “It’s not early Anjali. Next month you will get married,” mom says. Hearing her say that shocks me even though I already know. Oh God, what’s happening? This means that after next month, I’ll have no more freedom for the next six months. “But it is too early,” I say to her. She glares at me. “It’s not early.
