Cheyenne’s P.O.V

After we had finally finished everything and were finally lying down I had hoped we were going to have a peaceful night, but then that dumbass b***h, Cara, mind-linked Ace. he opened up his mind so that I could hear everything that was being said and when I heard that she had taken over the old pack house I was surprised, but I didn’t care. This is our new home and as long as we have our pack and they are happy then that b***h can’t touch us. We had put hard work into this place and there was no way she was ever going to ruin it. My kids are coming over tomorrow and I’m going to make a huge dinner for everyone. I already knew exactly what I was going to cook and I was really excited about it, especially as the last time I made dinner for everyone it didn’t go according to plan, but at least Holly and the baby were alright and I got my family back. I used to love getting the whole family together, just to talk and eat, but I just hope that this time everything goes to plan.

The Moon Goddesses P.O.V

I had been watching over them for months now and it seems like everything is working out, which is good. I wanted to bring Holly’s first mate back as well, as it only seemed fair as I had bought back Cheyenne, but the higher ups forbid me from doing so, telling me that if I did that I would be stripped of my powers and not only would I be human again, I would never be allowed to become a Moon Goddess again. I understood because I knew that I had done wrong by sending Cheyenne back, but it still didn’t seem fair to me, so I could send them a few speed bumps along the way. I was still going to test Mercury to see just how much he truly loved Holly, but I knew that I would have to be careful with this because if they found out what I was doing then I would be in deep s**t. Yes, I know a Moon Goddess shouldn’t be swearing, but sometimes we have cause to. I kept a watchful eye on Holly and Mercury and I was pleased to see that they were more happier than they ever had been, so were Cheyenne and Ace. Cara was still a thorn in their side and I knew that I needed to find someone for her, but once that is done, then it's done and she will go after Holly. What Cara doesn’t know is that in doing so she will make Holly so powerful that she won’t know that she is doing it until it's too late. Everything will go as planned.

Unknown’s P.O.V

This is it, this is my chance now that they have moved it will be better to watch her. I’m thirsty and this woman is looking good enough to drink every day. If she doesn’t come to me now then I will just use my compulsion and then I will turn ehr. I don’t care whose mate she is, she will be mine and mine alone. This is going to be so much fun and she looks so good to play with.

Mercury’s P.O.V

Mine and Holly’s daughter, Rachel, was going to be visiting today after being away, on and off, for over three years. She had been searching other packs for her mate and would return once every three months to check in, but now she had found him. She was bringing her mate here to meet all of us, but from the slight smell of fear coming from the doorway I knew that he had already heard about my reputation.

“Hey dad, I would like you to meet my mate, Cruise. Cruise, this is my dad, the one and only Mercury Black.” Rachel said, introducing us. He held out his hand to me and I could tell straight away that he was nervous, which made me chuckle and Rachel rolled her eyes at me. I shook his hand and from the look of relief on his face it was obvious that he must have thought that was it, it was over, but it was far from it. When I’m done talking to him he’s going to piss his pants.

“Dad, I need to speak with you alone, if you don’t mind?” Rachel said, making me tense a little. I knew that I was going to be in trouble for doing this to her mate, but oh well, it was my right as her father and I had done the same thing to all of my other children, so she wasn’t getting out of it.

“Of course honey, come to my office and we can talk. Holly, please show this gentleman to their room and make it known to him the rules.” I said, making Holly smirk as she nodded at me. Rachel and I walked to my office, but before I could sit down I felt tension in the air and I knew that it was coming off Rachel, but why?

“Dad, I knew that Cheyenne was alive, on the day of my birthday and first shift I knew that the Moon Goddess had sent her back. Are you going to leave mom and go back to her? What about me and my new brother? What about mom? She’s been through hell and back with you, she pulled you out of that darkness, so are you going to break mom's heart and reject her for Cheyenne?” Rachel asked, leaving me at a loss for words. I sat there for a few moments in silence, unable to find the words to talk to my youngest daughter, but once I had I patted the seat next to me and she sat down.

“Rachel honey, we know that Cheyenne is alive because your mother, myself and the rest of the children have already seen her, have already spoken to her. She explained everything to us about the Moon Goddess and everything else that happened since she has been back, but no, I’m not leaving your mother, honey. Yes, I know that hse has been through hell and back with me and for that I am truly sorry, but do you honestly think that I would just throw all of that away? No, honey, I won’t and I can’t. I know that Cheyenne is my first mate and I will always love her, but if it's meant to be with us then we will find our way back to each other. I’m happy with your mother and I’m not going anywhere, okay.” I replied and Rachel sighed.

Rachel’s P.O.V

I knew that one day, even if my mother dies or Cheyenne’s mate dies, that they will have their time together again, but I also knew that my father still loved Cheyenne, that he had never stopped. I knew that she was his first mate and his true love, but so was my mother, so that is a start and maybe things will work out the way they are meant to, whatever that is. I hugged my father and smiled, knowing that for now we were still a family.

“Okay, I’m going to go look for Cruise and dad, be nice to him.” I said and he started laughing. I got up from my seat and left dad’s office, but just as I was closing the door behind me mom was coming down the hallway.

“Honey, is everything okay?” Mom asked and I nodded.

“Yeah, everything is okay, I just needed to talk to dad about something, that's all. What room did you put me and Cruise in?” I asked, but mom just chuckled.

“He’s in your old room. Don’t worry, you have a new bed, curtains and the room is clean. I also washed your clothes and put them away for you, but the ones that didn’t fit anymore we took them to a charity shop. All your stuffed animals are in the closet and your dolls are in the cabinets, so don’t worry.” Mom replied, making me smile.

“Thanks mom.” I said, hugging her tightly. Mo went into dad's office and I went upstairs to my old room, but when I walked in I found Cruise shaking his head as he looked around.

“I honestly thought that I was going to walk into this room and find nothing but stuffed animals and barbie dolls, but I don’t see any anywhere.” Cruise said, laughing and I rolled my eyes.

“Oh they're here and I will show you.” I replied and Cruise looked confused as I opened the closet doors. Sure enough my dad had built a separate section with shelves for my stuffed animals and my dolls were in a china cabinet on the other side.

“See, I knew you were just like my sister, hiding your dolls and animals.” Cruise said, shaking his head. We both started laughing when there was a knock at the door, but when Cruise opened the door he stopped laughing and stood as straight as a pin.

“Alright Cruise, this is your chance to show me how tough you really are, especially when it comes to you being with my daughter. I know that you are wanting to join this pack and I know you know what I do, so tomorrow night we are going to go on a collection. Be downstairs at ten in the morning, not ten o one and not ten to ten. I mean ten sharp.” My dad said and Cruise just nodded.

“It's okay, he’s testing you, don’t worry. The others had to go through this as well.” I said, mind-linking Cruise.

“He’s not only your father, hes the king of the f*****g mafia, the Alpha Don.” Cruise said and I couldn’t control the giggle that escaped my lips at how intimidated he was by my father.

“Yes sir, I’ll be up and downstairs at ten sharp. I won’t be any later than that.” Cruise replied and my dad nodded before leaving.

“Dad, be nice.” I said, mind-linking him and heard him chuckle.

“This is what I did with Selena and Anna’s mates, they did well, so let’s see what this one can do.” My dad replied and I ended the link, shaking my head as I looked back at Cruise, who was now setting an alarm on his phone.
