Corrine shrugged, “It won’t be that different from Queen Elise’s situation, will it? When we defeat the dark fae, I can probably go back.”
Though he knows that’s what she wants, he still couldn’t help feeling sad about it.
“And when we defeat the dark fae, would you guys still visit?” He asked.
Corrine shrugged again before smiling. “We’ll probably go back to the northeast when it’s over. After all, we’re originally from there. We’re only staying at the north to help out King Edward.”
She already mentioned her background once. Seeing his expression, she chuckled.
“Don’t want me to go?” She was only joking but he took it seriously with a low hmm.
She coughed lightly in response while his ears turned red. Good thing he doesn’t actually blush in the face.
