Chapter 21 | "Let's drop formalities."
The inside was as glamorous as it could get. The hall was packed with men and women clad in expensive suits and sparkly dresses. Standing in the crowd Belinda suddenly felt underdress in her baby blue dress that did not have any sparkle in it.
She stood out, not because she was exceptionally pretty but because she was extremely ordinary. Belinda was already regretting her decision of accompanying Jax here.
The hall was lit with same golden lights like the ones at the entrance and a huge chandelier hung at the top like a masterpiece. Waiters roamed around the room offering drinks, while the guests formed small groups or roamed around greeting each other.
