Nelson fell silent. It was really hard to understand women.
As he was thinking, Monique spoke again.
"Well, I just said it casually to scare you. Your darling girlfriend isn't afraid of rats, but I am! There are rats in my new house. You are off work now, right? Come and help me to deal with it!"
Without waiting for Nelson to reply, she hung up on the call.
Nelson frowned as he was reluctant to go. However, Monique had always been a very neurotic woman. He was worried that she would do something to Naomi, therefore he got up and left.
On his way there, he went to the pharmacy and bought some medicine that was specially used to treat rats. Then, he went to the address that Monique mentioned.
After he pressed on the doorbell, the door was opened from inside almost instantly.
