When we get to school Hallie and Cooper are waiting for us outside. And almost everyone is saying hello to Cooper as we pass them in the hall. He was pretty popular. That’s why I never really knew why he likes hanging out with us. He could be hanging out with much more popular people but he’s not.
But I didn’t care. He was a really nice guy and a really good friend.
But I noticed that Cooper had moved over from where he had been standing until he was standing next to me. He was acting a little weirder today than usual. He was saying hello to everyone but he looked like he had something on his mind.
So when we got to my locker I opened it and I turned slightly to face him while I was getting my books.
