A few weeks passed and everything was calm. Mikhail received news from Adler that Matthew was safe and well. There was no other communication from him, Louis, or Person B. Life went on like before, quiet and unassuming. Alysson still lived with him and took care of his father while he went to work as the new Team Zero agent. The work was a lot simpler than he thought it would be.
He was to monitor the activities of the underworld and he was let into the loop of things. He got a lot more information than he could handle sometimes and it made him realize just how powerful the people he talked casually with before were. Realizing how harder it would be to even contact Louis, he continued his work with a heavy heart.
