As they reached the end of the left wing, they stood in front of a bricked wall, then they started looking for the same keyhole, but it's been half an hour, they still couldn't find even just one c***k or a hole that might be a keyhole.
"We should check the other wall." Lexi suggested but they ignored her and continued scanning the whole wall, even those that are not bricks, Lei and Denver scanned it scrutinizingly just to make sure they didn't miss the one they were looking for. "Guys—."
"Shut up Lexi and just help us find it." Jisu hissed at her without looking at her friend. Lexi just looked at her amusedly and shook her head before returning to the bricked wall in front of her and was actually surprised to see a super small hole in it, just right in front of her eyes.
"Uh guys."
"Lex, if we made sure that this wall is not a secret door, then we'll go to the right wing, but for now. Just help us and stop whining!" Jazen scolded her girlfriend and was about to smack her but she saw Lexi pointing at something on the wall.
"I found it." Lexi said. Everyone dropped their spots and walked back to Lexi.
"Okay, move to the side so I can open it now." Chantelle said as she positioned herself in front of the hole. She stretched her hands, wiggle them around and let out a sharp breath. "Hoo!" She huffed before taking the hairpins that she used earlier and picked the keyhole. "Got it!" She exclaimed and stepped back immediately just to make sure that there's no trap behind the door wall.
"Be careful." Trevor reminded them before they all moved. But they made sure there were no strings on their way or traps, or anything that would hurt them while trying to escape. But to be honest, they don't know where they are heading, they just need to reach the door from across.
One last step and they all reached the end of the black and white tiled floor. They exchanged glances and there's a visible happiness and excitement at the thought that they will finally escape.
"Don't bring me with you! I'm going to stay here and take those prizes!" Blake yelled when Lexi dragged him with her.
"There's no prizes, dumbass! We are the price for those monsters!" Siena growled at him but Blake was certain about his decision to stay.
"Just leave me and I'll show you that there is a prize in this challenge!" Blake insisted. Lexi looked at them and even if they didn't tell her what to do, she got it. So she let go of Blake and he immediately ran back to the door, but just before he could step outside, the bricked wall slammed shut and he was thrown back, he rolled on the floor and stopped right in Lexi's feet.
"That's what you get for being greedy." Iris laughed at him and she reached for the doorknob but she screamed as she touched the metal knob. Siena knocked her off on the floor using her shoulder and quickly pulled Iris to hug her.
Iris writhed against Siena's hold and the latter could feel the electric current still flowing in Iris' body so she held her tightly.
"What happened to her?!" Jisu asked worriedly and she was going to help Siena but Chantelle stopped her and pulled her back.
"Don't." She said.
"What? Why?!"
"She got an electric shock from the doorknob." Chantelle said her conclusion and they all backed away from the two but worried in their eyes.
Siena's eyes tightly shut while still holding Iris. Meanwhile, Iris slowly calmed down and then she passed out after. That's when everyone approached them again.
"Quick, remove her shoes!" Jazen ordered and looked for something to use to hit the sole of Iris's feet. Then she saw Lexi's sword on her back, she ran to her and pulled her out from its sheath.
"Whoa! What are you going to do?!" Lexi stopped Jazen by grabbing her hand.
"I'm going to help her!" Jazen yelled back and she shrugged Lexi's hand from her before running back and started hitting the sole of Iris feet carefully.
"I heard that if someone gets electrocuted, you need to hit the soles to keep the blood from moving, because if not, she's going to die." Jisu explained to Lexi.
"How did Jazen know that?" Lexi asked.
"My sister did it to me when I accidentally electrocuted myself." Jazen replied when she overheard the question.
Denver helped Siena to sit comfortably while she's hyperventilating upon receiving the second hand electric shock from Iris's body.
"You could've almost died too." Lei tells her.
"I didn't realize it, I was just super scared when I saw Iris and I thought hugging her would ease the pain she felt." Siena chuckled.
"I couldn't blame you because I would do the same with my brother." Lei said and he patted Siena's head. "You guys seem really close."
"She's all I have." Siena said while staring at Iris. "She taught me everything and I can't afford to lose her."
"She'll be fine, she's a strong woman." Denver assured the girl and Siena knows that he's right about Iris. A little electric shock is nothing compared to all the things they've gone through.
Who would've thought that after all the beating she received just to save Siena from those thugs, Iris still made it alive. She really thought that Iris was dead when they successfully escaped from them, covered with bruises, a gun bullet pierced on her right chest and a broken arm, Iris still made it. That's when Siena convinced herself that Iris was the strongest woman alive and she promised to herself that she will protect her at all cost even if Iris doesn't need to protect her.
While Jazen still continued hitting Iris's feet, Chantelle pumped her chest nonstop, until Iris suddenly sucked for air and she sat up abruptly.
"s**t!" She blurted out.
"Welcome back." Siena said in relief but tears started to roll down on her face.
"I think I met Satan for a minute." Iris joked which made everyone laugh except Siena because her cries grew louder. "Hey, I'm fine, please stop crying you baby."
"I thought I'm going to lose you!" Siena wailed and she crawled towards Iris and pulled her into a tight hug.
"But you didn't and thanks to you." Iris said to calm the girl.
"I barely did anything, Jazen and Chantelle are the ones who saved you."
"Well partly, but if you didn't knock me off, I would probably be dead by now."
"Okay, that's enough. Now that you're safe, we have to think how we could get out of here." Chantelle tells them.
"Let's check the other wall on the right wing." Denver suggested.
"Before we get there, we have to get out of here first." Lexi said from the door. While they were talking earlier, she already scanned the wall with Trevor but they couldn't see anything to open the door, even the keyhole earlier was nowhere to be found. It was just a plain wall now.
"So we're stuck in here?" Lei asked.
"What? No! You guys should know that electricity will not work if you don't touch the metal directly." Jisu said and she was about to remove her shirt but Chantelle cleared her throat to remind her that there are boys around them. "Give me your shirt." She turned to Denver.
"Just don't eye r**e me." Denver joked but Jisu just rolled her eyes at him. He gave his shirt to her and Jisu walked towards the door and wrapped the shirt around the doorknob carefully.
"Careful." Lexi said.
Jisu heaved a deep breath and exhaled slowly to compose herself. Chantelle and Lei are both ready to knock Jisu if it happen that she got electrocuted as well. Jisu's trembling hand reached the metal knob under the shirt and she sigh in relief when she felt nothing, so she immediately twisted it but in her dismay, it was locked.
"Damn it!" She growled.
"They are really slick!" Denver said and they all laughed, except from Blake again. "Get out of the way, I'm just going to kick it."
"Be careful." Lei tells his brother. They all moved out of Denver's way and he positioned himself, let out a sharp breath and used all of his strength and kicked the door open.
"Duck!" Denver shouted when he heard a string snapped and there were swords flying over them, luckily they had good reflexes which saved them from getting stabbed by the flying swords. Even Lexi pulled Blake down with her. "Phew! That was close!" Denver sighed as he pushed himself up and looked at the swords pierced on the wall.
"Good thing you warned us immediately." Jisu tells him.
Denver turned around to brag to his brother that he saved everyone, but he didn't see Lei standing in front of him. So he looked down and felt that his heart stopped beating when he saw a sword pierced on his brother's neck.
