My mate and I shared a nice, custom meal in the Alpha suite before gathering with his team in his office. There, we proceeded to spend the three hours we had before lunch deciding on a date and decorations for my upcoming Luna Ceremony, which was set to happen next Saturday.
Surprisingly enough, I didn’t feel any more nervous about my sudden change in roles than I did on the day I met my mate. Actually, I was looking forward to taking on my new responsibilities. I couldn’t tell if it was Cedar’s attentive and caring manner boosting my confidence, or if deep down I had always dreamt about earning a prestigious title. Either way, I was ready to live my new life to the fullest.
