The realization that Katrina is at risk in a foreign country makes Aaron fume. "Damned woman!" he can’t help cursing, his anger increasing by the moment.
Knowing that Katrina is in danger because of her assignment and hiding things from him makes him even more furious than the fact that she broke her promise to attend a party with him.
Katrina must know that Aaron cares and worries about her, but she doesn’t take him into consideration at all. Her heartlessness upsets him a great deal.
Right now, Aaron can’t bear to stay silently at the sidelines while Katrina is facing unknown dangers in a strange country. Whether he can help her or not doesn’t matter, he needs to be by her side.
Aaron immediately calls his assistant and tells him to book him on the first flight to Thailand.
