Chapter FifteenThe council member immediately walked to his land speeder, got in and pulled away from the club. The sun was already past the mid-day point, their time was wasting away and everyone seemed to be perfectly okay with it. City people were always like that, however, at least it felt that way. He moved through the city, and was getting frustrated at the other cars on the road that were just getting in his way. On the road he wasn't any more special than anyone else.
Even if it felt like it took forever, he eventually made it to the festival grounds and got out. The sound of the waves crashing into the beach, a light breeze was blowing in from the sea. The stage was a good distance away from here. He looked the thing and it reminded him more of the gallows than anything else.
