Dike took Onwem up the cliff and there Onwem narrated everything to him; how Dike's mother was arrested by the king of Abiam and put her in her cell and how Dike's mother transfered her magical powers to her in order for her to escape and how the King of Abiam, The Princess's father beheaded Dike's mother.
Dike was heart broken as he knelt and cried.
"But you have the chance to avenge your mother now. Send the head of the princess to her father" Onwem suggested. Dike looked up at her. "The Onwem that I know would not suggest such a thing" Dike sounded and made to leave but she stopped him. "If you don't have the guts to kill the Princess, I do. Let me kill her for you" Onwem uttered.
Dike left as Onwem shouted after him. "The great war is coming. You need me!!! You need the Sacred Tiger!!!
Dike left her on the cliff and went down to the palace. There he dragged the princess out from the palace hut and drew his sword. Onwem was smiling at the sight. The three palace guards watched as the Princess begged for her life.
" Your father has killed my mother and he matches to take over Icho Kingdom. He matches to kill me. I shall send him your head to start with!!! Dike raised the sword in rage but a familiar voice stopped him. They turned and behold it was the King of Icho whom Dike sent into exile.
The King of Icho had a burning staff at his left hand and his power was too great. He ordered Dike, Onwem and the three palace guards to lay down their swords and bow before him and they obeyed at once, except Onwem, who stood her ground.
"Little girl. The King began with his voice piercing the very wind.' Your magical powers can't be compared to mine. I have drunk from the pot of The Three Spirits and nothing can stop me"
But just then the Sacred Tiger appeared from a tick bush, snarled and walked towards Onwem. She bent down and Onwem climbed on top of her. Onwem smiled while the King was shocked.
"And I rode the Sacred Tiger from Abiam to your Kingdom" Onwem Sounded.
The King bent his knee at once in respect. Dike and the rest stood up.

The King of Abiam, The Three Wizards, The High Priest and the battalion were crossing the border, advancing towards Icho Kingdom.
**************
The king of Icho and Dike made peace. The King of Icho begged Dike to spare the princess's life and he accepted.
Dike sent a message to the King of Itoho to serve as their ally during the war between Icho and Abiam.
The King of Itoho was encouraged by learning that the Great Tiger was on Dike's side. However he was advised by his Priestesses that using the Tiger to wage war can bring unimaginable disaster upon them at the end but he ignored them.
Dike and The King of Icho had to visit him to convince him to lend them five thousand soldiers. The King of Itoho agreed to lend them four thousand instead but under one condition.
"If I must give you four thousand soldiers to risk their lives in your war, then you must give me the princess of Abiam to be my wife, thereby giving me the power to have influence in Abiam after the King of Abiam is defeated" the king of Itoho said.
Dike agreed, but something was wrong somewhere. The King of Icho did not just stop Dike from killing the princess. He stopped him because he had always wanted to keep the princess as his concubine.
He told Dike that after defeating the King of Abiam they should turn around and advance towards Itoho and destroy their kingdom. Dike already knew why and so he made up his mind to kill the Princess of Abiam once the war between Abiam and Icho was over to enable the relationship he had already created between himself, the Kings of Icho and Itoho not to suffer any conflict.
But the King of Icho already read Dike's thoughts with his magic powers. He made up his mind to follow his own heart.
Back to Icho, in the night, the King of Icho escaped with the princess of Abiam. He told her that together they would go to the boundary and join with the princess's father, the king of Abiam and together they would fight against Dike and Onwem.
"Why are you now betraying Dike?" The Princess asked the king of Icho while they stopped to rest in the forest.
"I will gain nothing from Dike. But if I save you, and fight beside your father, he might consider giving me back my kingdom and you as my wife. I love you" the king if Icho said passionately.
The Princess didn't know what to say. They continued running.
The King of Abiam with his wizards and his Army had camped at the boundary that separated Icho and Abiam, with hope of attacking Icho Kingdom the next day.
That night at Icho, Dike and Onwem were still sleeping, with Onwem, placing her head on his chest.
