Mira woke up and was shocked to be lying on the bed of the King of Moza. She tried to stand but was even more shocked to hear the King calling her his daughter. The king ordered the guards to bring her new cloths and attend to all her needs.
In Akere, Mara woke up and was getting better but her heart was greatly in pain. Kendrick was sitting beside her and comforted her.
"Mira tried to kill me" she cried.
"From what i heard my father have taken her in as his adopted daughter and... Mara, i fear for Akere Tribe. Your sister might come to destroy this tribe" Kendrick spoke.
Mara managed to stand up while holding her belly with her left hand. She faced Kendrick who was seated before her and gave him hard slap across the face. Kendrick was suprised.
"Pretty prince. Because of you me and my sister have become enemies. I don't want to see you again. Leave Akere. Leave me alone. Go away and never come back" Mara said and turned her face away.
Kendrick stood up, bowed before her and said, "i will go but i can't return to Moza and now that you have sent me away, i hope you stay well and correct the mistakes. I love you Mara" he turned to leave but Mara called his name and he stopped. Mara turned, rushed to him and grabbed his face and gave him a slobbery kiss before turning her face away again in tears. Kendrick left.
Mara's father walked in and sat down. "Mara"
"Yes father" Mara answered tearfully.
"The young prince is our only hope to survive your sister's wrath" the father said.
"No father. Because of him Mira will try to come for war. She will hate to see Kendrick around me. But now that he is gone. Mira can go and find him" Mara concluded.
"What about you. Don't you love him?" The father asked but Mara didnt know what to answer.
In Moza, Mira is sitting beside the King of Moza inside the mighty palace. Kendrick's mother was against this but her husband had made up his mind. She tried to challenge him and he put her in the palace cell.
Kendrick was seen wondering in the forest. He knew that a great war was coming.
