Rega had begun crying again while Zirima was getting more impatient with him. She kept watching him as he cried and so waited for him to be done with it. After sometimes Rega wiped his tears, shook the jug of wine and found it had finished and then threw the jug outside the stall room and began to position himself to sleep. Zirima kept on watching him and wondering at the same time if Rega was ever going to give her the explanation she had been demanding but seeing that he was already sleeping she sighed and stood to leave him there but then something kept on drawing her back and she could not tell what it was and she did not also want to care about it. She wanted to walk out again still yet she could not. A sense of responsibility and she was overpowered by it. She went back to him an seeing that he would be too big for her to lift up made her hands grow bigger and so she lifted him up and began to carry him into the inner part of the stall room and when she saw a flat wood on the ground she lowered him on it and kept thinking if it was not right for her to leave him and go now that he had been taken to a place he would sleep peacefully. She turned to leave but still something about him kept drawing her back to him and she decided to sit close to him and she too slept off. In the morning she woke up to find out that he was still sleeping and that she on the other hand had slept off and it was already morning. She knew that her mother would be worried by now and she needed to return to her and to Akpara. She stood up and dusted herself. She could see that Rega was opening his eyes and so she remained standing and waiting for him to open his eyes and finally he did. At that point she smiled at him and he did not return the smile instead he looked away and faced the wall. Zirima sighed and wanted to walk away and then she heard "Thank you" and she turned back and said, "Were you talking to me?" and Rega nodded. Zirima smiled and then had to ask, "Would you want to eat anything now?" she asked and Rega nodded again. This gave hope to Zirima and she went outside and went to a woman selling some fruits and standing before her she asked, "Could you give me some of your fruits? I do not have money" the woman selling the fruits looked up at Zirima and then hissed. "Which planet are you from? Do you not know that if you want to buy something you will have to pay for it. Are you deaf, I said that if you want to buy something from a seller you have got some money to pay that seller in return for what you want. If you do not have money for the fruits you seek then off you go, now!!!" the woman shouted at her at the end of her speech and this annoyed Zirima. "You will give me some fruits now" she said and the woman began to laugh. "What would you do if I do not give you some fruits. it looks like you were taught some manners while you were growing up but I sure can help your mother discipline you as long as she does not have the nerve to do so; you spoil brat" the woman ended her speech with that and Zirima immediately turned all her ware to the ground and and the woman held her by the neck and was trying to strangle her to death. Zirima made her hands grow bigger and then held the woman's hands with her own hands and broke her two arms. The woman screamed on top of her voice and fell, with her hands shaking. Zirima stood up, looked around to see that she had drawn a lot of attention to herself and immediately bent down and picked some of the fruits and then ran away, back to where Rega was lying down. When she got there she met some young boy, about six in numbers already where Rega was lying down and were trying to steal from him. Zirima first saw them and called them out immediately but the boys did not seem scared for they believed that a woman could do nothing to them. Instead they laughed at her and continued with what they were doing. Rega who had opened his eyes was still facing the wall and ignoring Zirima and the boys. Zirima warned the boys to stay away from him again and told them that would be the last time he was going to tell them. They refused to listen and instead three of the boys started moving closer to her, to either molest her or to beat her. Zirima picked a heavy stone to scare them away but they kept coming and laughing at her. Zirima then began to grow bigger, using her powers. The young men could not believe their eyes and one of them shouted, "She is a witch!!!" and the six boys all ran away.
Before Rega could turn to see why they had referred to Zirima as witch she was already back to her normal size and was already smiling at him. She brought and and served him the fruit. Rega who was hungry began eating voraciously. Zirima sat and watched. She waited for him to finish but amidst the eating Rega paused and looked up at her and had to ask, "What did you do to those boys?" he asked.
"I picked up a stone and they had to run" lied Zirima.
"You and I know you are lying. They called you a witch before they ran away. You were called a witch by them. I heard it" said Rega.
"If you heard and knew that they were here trying to steal from you and trying to beat me or probably r**e me then why did you not come for me. Why did you remain lying down and facing the wall. You see there are men who think some things can be taken care of by themselves but the truth is that some things can not make themselves right by themselves unless someone makes them. You were listening yet you did nothing. I was doing something for you but you allowed those boys to do to me whatever they liked"
"I would not have allowed them do to you whatever they liked. Of course I would come for you had they pressed forward and refused to let you have your freedom. I ma happy and equally heartbroken for the words you spoke to me. it makes me believe i am really a coward. a coward who does not deserve anything good. You were right about what I just did for if I was different may be and just may be the king of of the kingdom where I come from would not have taken the woman I love most in the world. You see, I have nothing against anyone and I could have been the best thing my kingdom would ever have but they turned their back on me and others stabbed me on the back. You, you sitting right here before me is the only thing I have left and I know that you will go soon and I am not going to ask you not to go either. Instead I am just going to make sure that you remain the best person in the world by telling you what I have never said to anyone ever since I left my land. " Thank You"
"Your words are full of pains and I can feel your pains in them. I wish I could take away your pains but I know I can not for your story is who you are. We all have our own stories and I have mine. I am happy too that I am doing what I have always wanted to do for the people of this world; helping them from this side of the world and not from the other side of the world. I know you have been wondering who I am all these while but I must tell you that I am just a person who wants to see you smile again and I will do anything to help you. Meanwhile there is somewhere I will take you to and I know you will be safer there and my people would like to meet you too. May be one day you will be a reason my people will listen to me and then realise that a lot is going wrong in this world. Eat fast so that we can go before night fall" When she was through she flashed him a smile and Rega smiled and continued with his fruits.
In the land of Meha, the king of Meha kingdom, king Zaz had requested for the presence of his wife and when Yara went to him he was not looking happy. He tried to understand why she and Mezie were discussing nonstop the last time he saw him at the balcony. Yara smiled and told the king that he had nothing going on between her and Mezie and also as a queen to be soon she had to be closer to some of the elders of the palace and not shy away from them if truly she wanted to be queen and if truly her husband to be, king Zaz had any intentions of making her a queen. The king nodded and then kissed her on the lips.
"Now that the issue of your husband has been put to rest I can only say that it is time for you to be my wife and by so doing I will grant you your request by helping the less privileged who troop in him on daily basis seeking for royal help. Yara smiled and assured him that she would stand by him as long as he keep his promises and not fail on them.
The marriage between Yara and king Zaz of Meha kingdom was a talk of the town. Many people paid a visit, including kings and prime ministers across the world.
