Zirima knew this saying that goes like this, "Prayer without work is futile" and so she swore to take the laws of Akpara into her own hands. The witches of Akpara did not know how it happened but after they were done praying they realises that Zirima was no longer in Akpara and that she had left again. The mother felt very bad and she turned to the rest and said, "I know that the law that governs us her was broken by my daughter and I know too that some of you have been whispering amongst yourself and saying that I spared the life of my daughter for breaking the law because she is my daughter but I am happy and willing to serve you all to the end because despite this you all have proven to me that your loyalty is with me and that you put your loyalty first before any other thing. I must say that I happy for you and I am happy for myself also. Because of this loyalty of you all you decided to break the law with me and flew to Ugodu land to help me find my daughter and then we did and we found her and we brought her back. We all saw the condition she was at that time and we did not want her to remain in that condition but my daughter is a stubborn girl and she has this notion that we are praying for too much and doing so little. This is her own belief and she is acting upon it but I think otherwise. I think that she is going back there because of that man we saw her with when we went to rescue her. It is a pity how a girl would so disrespect her mother on the expense of another man. She is still my daughter despite all of this and I believe that she wants to change and change she will but she won't be able to change alone. No. She won't be able to change or learn if she is not taught and shown the right path to follow. This is why I chose then to invite you to this gathering all so we can go ahead and save her again from her mistake and then I promise that after this last visit to Ugodu it will be the last time we will be seen going away from the land of Akpara. Here is our destiny. Here is where our destiny lies. We were made here and we must remain here. My daughter or anyone else will not and can not change that. Follow me sisters and let us make it right again" After she was done they began to make preparations by praying for their mission.
In the land of Ugodu, the king of Ugodu with his one eye was seen moving about and one of his men came to him and asked him to calm down but he would not have it. He had a lot of questions running through her mind and he needed answers to them. He made the man to understand that he was told that the reason the witches of Akpara came was because one of their own came down to visit a man, the same man they had apprehended and put in their cell. The king made him to understand that if the young man by name Rega whom they locked up truly was visited by one of the witches and then the witches had to come for the one who had come to visit him then there was problem somewhere. When the man asked him what he thought the king told him, "It means that this man we have taken prisoner is important to one of the witches and if that is so then I fear that this trouble has not ended. I fear that the one who has taken it upon herself to like the man so much that she would leave her aboard and come down to find him might come back and if she does then those witches will come back looking for her again and then there comes another disaster. I want you to tell the rest of our men to get their weapons ready for battle because I fear for what might happen"
The man left after the king had told him this and went to tell the rest of the men in the palace what the king had said and how important it was that they prepare and wait on the danger that was coming. The men in the palace Ugodu began to arrange their men and to sharpen their weapons, waiting for when the witches would return.
Zirima did not return to Ugodu as a dragon instead she returned as a normal girl. Nobody recognised her and she went into market where she knew she would be able to hear the story of Rega and where his location might be. When she arrived the market it was as she expected because everyone was talking about the visit of the witches and Rega. She then heard someone say that they would be save now that the king of Ugodu had locked Rega in his cell. Zirima then began to ask questions to know the path that led to the palace of the king of Ugodu and she was told by someone. She began to go to the palace of the king of Ugodu and when she got there she began to enter into the palace and she could see as some of the men in the palace entrance were getting ready. She could tell that they were getting ready for her and for her people. They did not recognise her but one of the King's men called to her and told her to leave and that there was something that was going to happen and no one should be seen lurking about. Zirima did not want to leave without Rega and so she walked up to the man that had said this to her and stood before him and then said, "I came to see the prisoner. Take me to him" The man did not know what happened next but he saw himself leading the way to the cell where Rega was kept and when reached there he watched as Zirima entered and then Rega was surprised to see that she came back for him.
"I had to come back for you and I am willing to take you out of here as soon as possible. I learnt also that the land of Ugodu is preparing against my people but that is ridiculous and insane. They can not be able to defeat my mother and her people rather the revise will be the case. I have come to take you out of here and I'm sorry for what you are about to see now" Zirima said this and then turned into a very large dragon and the guards in the cell all ran outside. The dragon spat fire on the chain holding Rega to the wall and the chains melted at once. Rega then mounted on her back and she used her head to break down the cell wall and tore herself out of it. The men in the palace who had already gotten their weapons ready thought that the witches had arrived and they began to fire their arrows at the dragon. The king ran out of his chamber and was shocked to the brim as he looked at the dragon.. The dragon spat fire on the gates and the gates fell. She then tore itself out if it and as the men in the palace fired their arrows at it it kept flying until she was out of their reach. She flew away from the city.
The mother to Zirima had concluded her prayer with the rest of the witches and they were about to move. Zirima made them to understand that it was a mission that if the king of Ugodu failed to provide her daughter they should all turn to dragon and spit fire on the palace and every person they set their eyes on. They moved and flew away from Akpara and headed to the land of Ugodu.
The king of Ugodu rushed to the cell where Rega was kept and his dream came to reality. He said he said that the witches would come for him and now it had happened. He told his men to get more ready for the war was not over yet, as he said this he also made them to understand that he was also involving the wizards of his friends to help fight the dragons and it was done.
Soon the dragons could be seen coming like birds in the air. They were descending in the palace of the king of Ugodu..The men got ready to fire but then the dragons flew down and turned to their human form and began to walk into the palace. The mother to Zirima walked up to the king and his wizards and stood before him,. "I have come for my daughter and I pray you provide her before I ask the second time. When she said this the king looked sideways and said, " Your daughter came here and took the prisoner away and fled. We can not say where he had gone to with her but we knew that you would be coming and so we prepared in case you come to attack us again" said the king and the mother to Zirima looked at her fellow witched and then shook her head. "You have not answered well king of Ugodu. You lost one of your eyes because you were unable to know and respect your own boundary. Now that you have put your hand into what belongs to me I do not think you will free this time. My fellow witches will tear down this place ad you will be killed. If you do not want us to do this then I'm giving you two days to find my daughter and bring her to me in Akpara and do that withing forty eighth hours. If you do not and I wait for forty eighth hours without seeing my daughter I will return here with my men and descend upon you heavily and you and I know what it means if that is to happen here"
