In the bandits hideouts, Gilly had gotten better. Her left arm was badly injured but her team was very caring. She was left to rest. A moment after, the bandits leader walked in and sat beside her.

"My own man pushed me down the cliff. I believed in Chaze. Because of him I joined this group. And he tried to kill me because of a foreign w***e. We are not from Kaborn. We are not from Kenza. Why would my love hold love for these people?"

Gilly sniffed and continued,; I will find him" she put in.

"I forbid you to do so. This team has other greater plans. Chaze will later realise there is no better family for him than us. He will return" the leader spoke and left her to rest.

After a while Gilly decided to go to the cliff alone. There she stood, with arms folded.

In the forest, Chaze tried stopping Lilly but Lilly warned him not to follow her. Chaze stopped following her. Lilly walked through the darkness, and was heading back to the bandits. Gilly saw a shadow approaching towards the cliff and drew her sword but realising it was Lilly she was dumbfounded.

With both hands raised, Lilly approached her and knelt down. "It is a miracle that you survived that fall. Your man betrayed you because of me and that same man of yours caused the death of my childhood lover. I want to take revenge on my elder sister Ann for beheading Ome. There is no better people to approach than the famous bandits of Kenza. Please welcome me into your service"

Gilly looked at her for a while before she said, "I'm no longer part of my group and my hand is itching to cut off Chaze's head. Did you whisper gold in his ear?" Was that why he chose to kill me instead of you?"

Lilly shook her head.

"Then he loves you. And you want me to keep you alive?" Gilly asked again.

"I left him in the forest to come back to you. I witnessed the death of my heartthrob with Chaze. He knows very well that I hate him for it. I don't want all the gold in the world. I just want Ann's head"

Chaze who was hiding in the dark and listening to the two ladies was shocked to learn that Gilly was still alive. He shook his head and knew he lost everything already. He knew he had to leave Kenza to a far away land. Where he planned to find another life with another woman.
