The leader of Akere tribe sat down dejectedly and said to Kendrick, "We cannot call for allies. We are nothing but a tribe. Coming back shows you are a man of loyalty. My daughters; their mother will die if any harm should come to them"

"Your daughters should fight their way home. When they do then you would know they are ready to lead this war" Kendrick pointed out.

"No Kendrick. You will lead our army to this war" the leader finalised.

In the forest leading to Moza, Mira didn't know what else to say. But Mara stepped forward and said to the soldiers. "Here is someone who was very important to the king of Moza" she said pointing at Mira. "She was the King's concubine but we were attacked by the king of Moza who no longer needs you or us. He cursed you and called your mother a p********e who gave birth to you in a war camp where she was sleeping with soldiers"

This got the leader of the army very mad. He got down from his horse and approached Mira. "And you are his concubine? Good. He wants to claim the glory of defeating Akere all by himself."

"Do you believe these ladies?" One of the soldiers on the horse asked.

Mira started saying, "I was escaping his wrath with these my trusted servant and my sister when one of us got stabbed. We mocked his bravery in the field of battle but he took it all serious and claimed he would win a war without your help. When we tried to joke on it again he called your mother...

"enough! I have heard enough trash about my mother from you" the leader said and turned to his soldier. " I have every reason to believe these women. The Moza king has always underated and given me cold shoulders in the past" he brought out a piece of paper and tore it to shreds. "Relationship between us and the Moza King has ended. We are going to join the Akere tribe and fight beside them against Moza" the leader finalised and the twins nearly shouted out of joy but they controlled themselves.

"We can come with you right? The Moza king will never take us back. Let us go with you to Akere" Mara begged.

The leader of the army nodded and that was how the Moza King lost his ally to Akere Tribe.

Kendrick and the leader of Akere were preparing their army for the war.

In Moza, the king was worried. He called one of his soldiers and ordered him to go to the mountains and see if the ally he called were coming but the soldier was shocked when he reached the mountains and stared into the great forest. The army coming to fight for them had turned towards Akere. He ran back to give the king the terrible news.
