“I believe we wore her out today,” Alexis whispered with a quiet laugh as she and Lynn stepped onto the porch of Alexis’s rental home. “Do you mind grabbing the keys for me?” Alexis asked while struggling to hold the sleeping child in her arms.
“Oh, umm, of course,” Lynn replied with an air of unease. Lynn blew out a shaky breath when Alexis gestured to the pocket in the fringed jean shorts. Slowly, Lynn pushed her hand inside and tried to ignore Alexis’s shapely hips. A warm rush spread throughout her entire body when her hand briefly brushed against Alexis’s thighs. Lynn hurriedly pulled the keys from within her pocket, certain her face was flushed from the undeniable heat. She fumbled with the keys and attempted to still her trembling hand.
