Chapter 3 The warmth of the morning sun made Lynn smile at the promise of a beautiful new day. She tossed her oversized blanket across the inviting lounge chair and let out a sigh of complete relief. She was cheerful; her tour schedule had a couple days break. It had been so long since she had been able to just let go and relax, Lynn had nearly forgotten what it felt like. The wheels in her mind never stopped turning with new song ideas, scheduling details, talk show preparations, wardrobe choices, and set lists. She tugged a barrette from her oversized bag and pulled the stray tendrils away from her face. Finally, she was able to take it easy for a few brief moments. Lynn closed her eyes, basking in the glow of the warm sunshine. Work was the furthest thing from her mind.
