~Lynlee~ As much as he made me want to shake him, Sebastian was hard to dislike. Under that cold shell was a man capable of being warm. Or at least normal. Maybe somewhere in between… The longer we had sat silently while he tossed around on the couch trying to get comfortable, the harder it became to pretend I could ignore his presence. He was over six feet tall, for crying out loud; the man was impossible to ignore. That bruising made it worse. His side looked awful. I remembered a time when my torso looked like that, and I could barely get around the house by myself. I went to the bathroom fully intending to shower and try to get myself together, but it hadn’t worked. Mrs. Russel had texted me yet again, notifying me of her expectation to see me at Thanksgiving. Call me a coward
