"I waited at the gallery, but John never showed up. When I left with Mooney it was well past the appointed time he said he would be there," Piper complained to Joel as they walked towards the promenade. Piper was thankful she had somebody to talk to about her morning. She"d been full of grand plans to try and find the murderer on her own, but she had to be honest: she didn"t really know where to start.
